"You're adorable" - Jose Canseco's daughter Josie reacts as former MLB star throws ceremonial first pitch for Athletics at Oakland Coliseum
Legendary Oakland Athletics slugger Jose Canseco came back to the Oakland Coliseum on Saturday night to throw the ceremonial first pitch ahead of Game 2 of the three-game series between the A's and the LA Angels. Jose had hung up his cleats in 2001 with the White Sox and since then has occasionally thrown the first pitch at the Atheltics' home in Oakland, California.
Jose Canseco shared an Instagram post showcasing the latest edition of his ceremonial pitch ahead of an A's game in the MLB on Saturday. He captioned the post:
"Just threw out the first pitch at the A’s game. This will likely be one of my last times stepping on this legendary field where so many memories were made. I’ll always remember this moment."
His daughter and budding fashion model, Josie Canseco, responded to his post, as she commented:
"You’re adorable"

Canseco spent nine seasons, including his first 7.5 seasons in MLB, playing for the Oakland A's. During his time with the team, he was named AL Rookie of the Year (1986) and AL MVP (1988). He also helped the A's win the World Series in 1989.
Josie reflected on what it's like to be Jose Canseco's daughter
In an exclusive interview with Maxim last year, Josie reflected on being Jose Canseco's daughter and the problems that her family faced over the years. She said:
“Everyone’s family goes through their own set of issues, and sometimes when you have one side of your life in the public eye, the personal side can bleed through and make things messy. I’m grateful for my family in every way, but it’s just not all what it may seem.”
Josie was born in November 1996, just a little over two months after Jose married his then-girlfriend Jessica. The duo had met at a Hooter's where Jessica was working as a waitress when Jose went there to enjoy a meal one day. Soon, they started dating.
Jessica and Jose Canseco got married in August 1996. But three years after their marriage, the duo parted ways as the underlying tension between them grew further. They finally settled their divorce lawsuit in 2000.
Despite the couple's parting ways, they agreed to co-parent their daughter. Josie chose fashion to be her professional career. She has worked with some big household names in fashion over the years.
Josie is close to both her parents and has grown past the difficult days that the family saw due to the torrid lifestyle of Jose Canseco on and off the diamond.
