"Like some dude that doesn't have 37 kids" - Joe Kelly's wife Ashley teases Dodgers star about 'showing off bod' during NL West title celebration
Though Joe Kelly's wife Ashley wasn't in attendance at Dodger Stadium when the Dodgers pulled off a 7-2 victory over the San Diego Padres this week to clinch the NL West for the 11th time in the past 12 seasons, she celebrated the achievement on social media.
Kelly didn't pitch in the game but had a blast celebrating alongside his Dodgers teammates. One particular celebration caught the attention of Ashely, who's mother to twin boys, Blake and Kai, and a daughter Crue.
In the celebratory post shared by Dodgers social media handle, one photo had Kelly, along with Alex Vesia, Brent Honeywell and Evan Phillips, shirtless with champagne showered on them. Taking to social media, Ashley wrote:
"Is it just me or are our dudes showing off the bods this year with the champagne cellies?! Yo JK, easy on them bro ... don't act like you are some dude that doesn't have 37 kids at home."
Joe Kelly's wife Ashely misses LA Dodgers wives celebration, feels old with Ellen Kershaw and Sara Hudson
After the LA Dodgers wives posted their post match celebration photo, Joe Kelly's wife missed them all, resharing the post on Instagram. Nevertheless, she resonated with veteran pitcher Clayton Kershaw's wife Ellen and Daniel Hudson's wife Sara feeling old.
"So excited to get the postseason started with this group of hunniiiees! Time to take your granny panties off Ellen Kershaw and Sara Hudson," she wrote.
In other stories, Ashley shared that she was with her group of dancers during the Dodgers' game with the Padres on Thursday. She also shared that she was picking up custom merchandise for her Dodgers wives and girlfriends as they hope to wear it in October.
Meanwhile, Joe Kelly looks forward to another postseason, hoping to add his third World Series hardware after winning with the 2018 Boston Red Sox and the 2020 Dodgers.
This season, Kelly has thrown for a 4.78 ERA while striking out 35 hitters across 32.0 innings pitched.
