Oakland Athletics fans are behind star podcast host roasting the team's owner John Fisher: "We're gaining momentum!" "People are catching on!"

Oakland Athletics owner John Fisher has not made any friends in Oakland this season. He's trying to move the team from Oakland to Las Vegas and give his team a refresh.

Fans have been protesting the move by not showing up to the games. As for the ones who attend the games, you can find them with a sign telling John Fisher to sell the team. It's getting ugly in Oakland, and star sports podcast host Big Cat chimed in on the situation.

Fuck John Fisher

Big Cat's statement is short, sweet and to the point. He stands with the Oakland fans as they continue to fight with their owner over a relocation. Oakland has recently gotten the short end of the stick involving professional sports teams.

They lost the Raiders when they moved to Las Vegas in 2020. Oakland also lost the Golden State Warriors in 2019 when they moved across the bay to San Francisco.

"We're gaining momentum!!!" one fan tweeted.

@BarstoolBigCat Love you big cat thank you #FisherOur #SellTheTeam
@BarstoolBigCat @As_Fan_Radio Keep it coming!!

Oakland Athletics fans are happy to see someone of Big Cat's status taking their side. They're tired of seeing all of these professional teams leave town.

@BarstoolBigCat Love it!
@BarstoolBigCat Thank you Big Cat - been on this block for years now
@BarstoolBigCat All my homies hate John Fisher
@BarstoolBigCat Thank you for standing in solidarity ✊
@BarstoolBigCat Thank you for bringing light to the real problem Mr Cat

Expect Oakland fans to protest the move to Las Vegas the whole way. They believe their town deserves a professional baseball team.

Has John Fisher hit a snag in moving the Oakland Athletics to Las Vegas?

John Fisher is urgently trying to move the Oakland Athletics to Las Vegas, but he's hit a snag regarding the team's new stadium. Nevada lawmakers are only willing to contribute a portion of the expenses the team seeks.

Fisher and the Athletics are seeking $395 million to build a new stadium in Las Vegas. Nevada is only willing to spend $195 million, leaving quite a gap to be covered.

Nevada is hesitant to spend so much money on a team that has gotten rid of any good players the team has rostered. Their 10-35 record is by far the worst in baseball, with only a few other teams coming close to that. The Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals are the only two teams within six games of that record.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out this year. Fans have been relentless so far in protesting the team, and Nevada isn't willing to drop the money the A's are looking for.
