Harrison Bader Trade Rumors: MLB analyst views the Phillies as being a perfect landing spot for Mets' slugger

New York Mets slugger Harrison Bader's name has popped up increasingly with MLB's trade deadline approaching. With New York 13 games out of first place, there are thoughts that the team will be sellers once again.

Bader has been playing well this season. Through 69 games, he has hit .275/.321/.422 with six home runs and 30 runs batted in. He is just 10 home runs and 20 runs batted in away from tying a career-high.

One team that could use that offense and some help in center field is the Philadelphia Phillies. While there are more lucrative options for the position, Bleacher Report's Joel Reuter views this as a perfect match.

Bader would certainly be an upgrade for the team, and he would not cost as much as some of the other options. Luis Robert would be a move that would turn heads, but Philadelphia would have to be fine with parting ways with key prospects.

There are a few teams that could key in on Harrison Bader to help out in the outfield. One of these teams that will likely be aggressive during the trade deadline is the San Francisco Giants.

Jung Hoo Lee had season-ending shoulder surgery in May after crashing into the center field wall trying to catch a fly ball. It has surely taken a hit on the club as they have faltered without their leadoff hitter.

Another team that could make a move at the trade deadline is the Kansas City Royals. They have come out this season and surprised many, posting a record well above .500.

They have been tied to cheaper rental players like Tommy Pham, so do not be surprised if they make a move for Bader.
