Top 5 celebrity fans of Yankees and Dodgers who could attend 2024 World Series ft. Jay-Z, Magic Johnson and more

The Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals and Stanley Cup are the biggest sporting events in North America. These games draw in many celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment. The 2024 World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees is expected to be no different.

Spread across a maximum of seven games, four games will be played in LA and three in New York. Here are the top five celebrities whom you could find in the stands of Yankee and Dodger Stadium starting this Friday.

Top 5 celebrities who could turn up for Dodgers vs Yankees 2024 World Series

1) Rob Lowe

Hailing from Charlottesville, Virginia, Lowe grew up as a Cincinnati Reds fan before Hollywood became his second home, turning him into a Dodgers fan. Glimpses of the critically acclaimed Captain Owen Strand from "9-1-1: Lone Star" throughout the season at Dodger Stadium are a testament to that.

2) Billy Crystal

The 76-year-old grew up in New York and is naturally a Yankees fan. Even the organization had him once hitting from the lead-off spot (a one-day minor league contract) and had one plate appearance in the Grapefruit League in 2008.

In May this year, he made his presence felt in the booth. The filmmaker is also a part owner of the Arizona Diamondbacks, who are divisional rivals to the Dodgers in the NL West.

3) Magic Johnson

The Lakers legend played his entire career in LA and helped the city win five NBA championships. Post-retirement, he has been both personally and financially invested with the Dodgers, having joined the ownership group in 2012.
