WATCH: Tom DeLonge takes Petco Park by storm with epic "All The Small Things" sing-along in Padres gear
Blink-182 singer Tom DeLonge joined San Diego Padres fans to celebrate their NLDS Game 3 win against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers at Petco Park on Tuesday.
After the Padres defeated the Dodgers 6-5, DeLonge led the celebration by singing his famous song "All the Small Things" as fans at the ballpark rallied behind him.
The atmosphere was one to behold as the home team moved one step closer to upsetting the World Series favorites and advancing to the NLCS.
In Game 3, the Padres took an early lead, scoring six runs off Dodgers ace Walker Buehler in the second inning. This included some controversial yet smart baserunning. Fernando Tatis Jr.'s two-run homer capped off the innings, as Buehler was visibly frustrated in the dugout during the break.
In the following inning, the Dodgers responded with four runs, courtesy of a grand slam by Teoscar Hernandez, which cut the Padres' lead to 6-5. However, what followed was incredible stuff from the Padres bullpen, which didn't allow the Dodgers to tie the game.
A 1-2 series deficit in a crucial best-of-five series may get the best out of the Dodgers, who are the stronger team on paper.
The two teams face each other again on Wednesday for Game 4.
Tom DeLonge gifts Padres' slugger a guitar after wildcard heroics
Tom DeLonge is a devoted Padres fan, and he made sure to appreciate slugger Kyle Higashioka, whose home run in Game 1 of the NL Wild Card Series helped the team defeat the Atlanta Braves last Tuesday.
A day after his exploits, Higashioka entered the clubhouse to find a guitar leaning against his locker. It was gifted to him by DeLonge, who had earlier thrown the ceremonial first pitch.
"No way," said Higashioka. "That is unbelievable."
Interestingly, he homered again against the Braves in back-to-back games as the Padres swept the wild card series to advance to the postseason.
