When Trevor Bauer's sexual assault accuser revealed intimate link to Padres star Fernando Tatis Jr.
On August 17, 2021, Lindsey Hill, who accused former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher, Trevor Bauer of sexual assault, testified that she had previous sexual relationships with San Diego Padres star, shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr., and Chicago White Sox pitcher Mike Clevinger.
In June 2021, Bauer was looked into for the alleged attack of Lindsay Hill, a San Diego resident. The woman said that after meeting Trevor, he attacked her physically and sexually on two consecutive occasions. Hill also said that Bauer had strangled her until she was unconscious, sodomized her against her will and hit her in the face.
On July 2, the MLB put Bauer on administrative leave. In an intriguing development, Bauer admitted having sex with his accuser but said that their interactions were "wholly consensual."
So, when Miss Hill opened up about her romantic relationship with Padres stars Fernando Tatis Jr. and Mike Clevinger at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse before Judge Dianna Gould-Saltman, it came as a shock to the MLB world. As per Hill, she was in a relationship with Tatis Jr. in 2019 and got into an affair with Mike Clevinger in October 2020.
On the same day, Bauer's sexual assault accuser also claimed that her past relationships should not impact the gravity of her charges against the former MLB player.
“I don’t see how that’s (relationship with Fernando Tatis Jr. and Mike Clevinger) relevant,” said Lindsay Hill.
Back then, the San Diego woman was striving to get a five-year restraining order against Bauer. Previously, in June 2021, she was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order.

Once the court found that Bauer did not constitute a threat to Hill's safety, the temporary restraining order against him was lifted on August 20. In April 2022, Bauer sued Hill with a defamation suit for accusing him of assault.
Five months later, on September 13, 2022, Bauer published a video that his accuser had taken, establishing his innocence by demonstrating that the accuser was "willingly in bed with a sleeping Mr. Bauer, and is smirking and uninjured".
Trevor Bauer was released by Los Angeles Dodgers
On April 29, 2022, Trevor Bauer was suspended for 324 games without pay for violating the MLB's Joint Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Policy. However, after he appealed the suspension, the arbitrator decreased Bauer's MLB ban to 194 games.
On January 6, 2023, the LA Dodgers designated Bauer for assignment before he was officially released by the team on January 12. Presently, he has agreed a one-year, $4 million contract with the Yokohama DeNA BayStars, in Nippon Professional Baseball.
