When Tyler Skaggs' widow shared her struggle to cope with the late LA Angels star's absenceĀ

In October 2022, Tyler Skaggs' widow, Carli Skaggs shared her struggle to cope with the late Los Angeles Angels star's absence.

Mrs. Skaggs opened up after former Los Angeles Angels front-office employee, Eric Kay was sentenced to 22 years in federal prison for having provided drugs to Tyler that led to his overdose death in 2019,

Skaggs was just 27 years old when he was found dead in his hotel room in Texas. Apparently, he had choked to death on his vomit and had a mixture of ethanol, fentanyl, and oxycodone in his system at the time of his death.

Tyler and Carli had a love marriage.

"2018 was the best year yet." - Tyler

Before getting hitched in 2018 on New Year's eve, they dated for five years.

"I just, I miss Ty so much. I loved him so much. We had a love that was so special. I think about it, if I ever had children one day, I hope for that. I hope that they could experience the love that I had with Tyler. I hope everyone can. It was a love that you can see and feel. And everybody would tell us that," Carli Skaggs said reminiscing the happy memories with Tyler.

Skaggs passed away just seven months after their first wedding anniversary.
