Top 10 Shot Blocking Guards in the NBA right now

2014 NBA Finals - Game Four
Is Dwyane Wade still the no.1 shot blocking guard in the league?

Whenever we use the word "Block", we think of a big man instantly. Guards are often correlated with steals, which makes sense but sometimes they tend to give us supreme blocks! To compensate with their general (rarely do we have 6'9" point guards) lack of height, the guards must have an extremely good technique and timing to block shots.

This list includes only players whose primary position is in one of the guard spots, hence players like LeBron James (SG), Giannis Antetokounmpo (SG), Kevin Durant (SG), Brandon Ingram (SG) etc. are not included in the list.

Without further ado let's jump into the list of top 10 shot-blocking guards in the league right now.

JUST MISSED THE CUT- Vince Carter

Half man Half amazing!
Half man Half amazing!

"Half man half amazing" is still at it even when he is 40 years old. Obviously not as athletic as before, but still averaging 0.6 blocks per game and is on pace for 35-40 blocks in the season. Extraordinary for anyone at the age 40 let alone a guard! His career best is 92 blocks in the 1999-00 season. Apart from it, he also has 5 more 50+ blocks seasons.
