Pacific Division: Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, LA Clippers, Phoenix Suns, and Los Angeles Lakers

For quite some time now, the Pacific has been ruled by the team that hails from the bay area. With the recent addition of the King, the division does not lack quality basketball players whatsoever.

Housing future Hall of Famers in Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Rajon Rondo and the latest addition in LeBron James, the aforementioned division is one to watch out for. Despite possessing a relatively somber environment in terms of competition, individual talent does stand out unlike anywhere else in the Pacific.

Let's dive in and take a look at the current team standings on the Pacific Divison leaderboard of the Western Conference.

#5 Phoenix Suns

The Suns haven't been any better even after bagging the No. 1 draft pick in DeAndre Ayton. They finished 15th last season and are back to being the team with the worst record in the league again this year. Currently, they have lost the most games of any team this year, as they host a miserable 11-48(0.186) record next to their name.

They have lost all of their last 15 games and are now an abysmal 31 games behind the Conference leaders. Even with Devin Booker dropping 24+ points a game and Ayton averaging a double-double on the season, the Suns are yet again the laughing stock of the NBA, grazing the bottom of the leaderboard as of this moment.

#4 Los Angeles Lakers

LeBron hasn't missed the NBA Finals for the past eight consecutive seasons

Looking at the way things are panning out, the Lakers are not even the best team in LA at the moment. With LeBron's postseason legacy at stake, the men in purple-and-gold are 3 games behind the eighth seed, hoping to close the gap before time runs out on them.

With just 25 games remaining in the regular season after the All-Star break, Luke Walton and co. are 28-29 (0.491) on the season. Their sub-par win-loss record effected in part by LeBron's 18-game absence has resulted in a decent headstart for the rest of the teams in the playoff race, which the Lakers haven't yet shown signs of overcoming.
