Final Score: Golden State Warriors defeat. Sacramento Kings, 130-125
After a tough loss at home against the association-leading Toronto Raptors, the Warriors visited Sacramento to take on the Kings at the Golden 1 Center. The Kings were on a two-game winning streak and were looking to extend it.
The Golden State Warriors started the game strong and went into halftime with a 76-64 lead. Even though the Warriors had comfortable lead till the end of three quarters, Kings took the lead in the fourth quarter and held on to it nicely, before Warriors' late surge helped them fend off the Kings.
The Warriors ended the final three minutes of the game on a 17-2 run and avoided an embarrassing loss. Kevin Durant stuffed the stat sheet with 33 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for the dubs. In this article, let us take a look at three of the talking points from the Warriors' win over the Kings.
#3 Green's double-double with rebounds and assists
Stat line: 2 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists, and a steal
Draymond Green has not been scoring a lot this season but he is doing everything else to help the Warriors to wins. In particular, he is racking up assists at an all-time high and is also grabbing rebounds fighting in the paint.
Against the Kings, Draymond only scored once, a layup in the first quarter. However, his scoring is not what the Warriors expect from him as they have three of the best scorers in the league.
Green was masterful passing the ball and used his vision to dish out dimes like it is nothing. He also had game-high 14 rebounds on the night and was very dominant in the paint. It is incredible that he registered a double-double with rebounds and assists.
