The NBA hasn't seen a quadruple-double performance in the last 30 years, but San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama may soon change that. There are only four quadruple-doubles in NBA history, making it one of the rarest statistical accomplishments in the league.

#5. Spurs vs Lakers (Feb. 24, 2024)
Victor Wembanyama's performance against the LA Lakers in their third matchup of the 2023-24 NBA season was iconic for multiple reasons. Just a day after recording his career's first 5x5 stat line, Wembanyama repeated the incredible feat against LeBron James and Co. with 27 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, five steals and five blocks in the game.
The feat also tied Wembanyama with NBA legend Michael Jordan as the only players with back-to-back games with five steals and five blocks. Despite his incredible performance, the Spurs lost 123-118. After the game, the first pick of the 2023 NBA Draft brushed off the personal accolade citing the disappointment of the team's loss.
#4. 76ers vs Spurs (April 8, 2024)
The final time Wemabanyama came close to securing a quadruple-double in his rookie season was during the Spurs' third-last game of the regular season, which was against the Philadelphia 76ers. In the game, the star rookie recorded an impressive 33 points, 18 rebounds, six assists and seven blocks. Despite his valiant attempt, the Spurs were defeated 133-126 after two overtimes.

In the San Antonio Spurs' final regular-season matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, Victor Wembanyama led them to a 122-115 overtime victory. He recorded 33 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists and seven blocks to get the Spurs a win after four consecutive losses.
#2. Spurs vs Raptors (Feb. 13 2024)
This game featured one of Victor Wembanyama's two triple-doubles in his rookie season with an added layer of rarity as he achieved the feat with blocks. The 7-foot-4 center recorded 27 points, 14 rebounds, 10 blocks, five assists and two steals in the game to lead the Spurs to a convincing 122-99 win against the Toronto Raptors.

The closest that Victor Wembanyama came to recording a quadruple-double as a rookie was during the Spurs' fifth-last game of the season. Playing against the then reigning champions, Denver Nuggets, Wembanyama recorded 23 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists, nine blocks and one steal in the game.
Despite his incredible performance, the Spurs were defeated 110-105, as the rookie fell shy of the incredible feat by a pair of assists and a block.
