NBA: Ranking the current brother combos
Sibling rivalry arises when children in the same family pursue similar interests and goals. It is particularly intense when children are very close in age and of the same gender and/or where one or both children are intellectually gifted.
It is no surprise that siblings will venture into the same professional field, based on the above explanation. From the Wilkins and Barry brothers of the past, the NBA will never lack siblings playing in the same era and rarely same team.
While some are twins, some have been teammates and others are all-stars, we look at the players that prove talent sometimes runs in the family. career accomplishments and individual success have all been considered when comprising this list.
#8 Jerian and Jerami Grant
Jerian and Jerami are yet to make their mark in the league. They are the sons of Harvey Grant (played for 11 years in the NBA with Washington Bullets/Wizards, Portland Trailblazers, and the Philadelphia 76ers), the twin brother of Horace Grant (four-time NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers).
Jerian is a point guard for the Chicago Bulls, while the younger Jerami is a power forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Their young careers are still promising, and with proper tutelage, they can become solid role players who could have a long NBA career.
