5 reasons the NBA should, and could bring theĀ  Seattle Supersonics back

I have been a basketball fan for a while, as of right now my favorite team, is the Phoenix Suns, but it hasn't always been that way. When I was little, like super little, I got my first NBA game, NBA LIVE 08, and, I didn't really have a favorite team. Until there was one logo, that stood out to me for some reason. I also wanted to play with a rookie, Kevin Durant, on the Seattle Supersonics was perfect for me.

I know it sounds weird, but I found my favorite team, by playing a video game. Then, the Supersonics after that year, relocated to Oklahoma City and became the Thunder and I lost my Supersonics, and I didn't want to like the Thunder, and I needed a new team to root for so I went with Suns. I do believe, we should bring the Supersonics back, and I know a lot of people who will agree with me.

So, these are going to be my 5 reasons on why I think we should bring the Supersonics back:

#5 Seattle fan base is one of the best in the world

Young fans...
Young Sonics fans.

There might not be a better fan base in the entire NBA, and they have been praying that they will return. It hurt me when the Supersonics left, and I live in Omaha so, I can only imagine what they are feeling up there. In 2013, the Sacramento Kings were up for sale, and they have been rumored to relocate to Seattle for a while, of course, this didn't happen, but Seattle put up a record bid, 625,000,000 dollars.

625 million dollars. Six-Hundred and Twenty-five MILLION dollars.

No matter how you say it, it's a huge number. However, they didn't get the team, the Sacramento Kings won the sale, with a total bid of 525 million dollars, which would have been a record. This really shows how much this team wants this team, they were willing to outbid a record, that already seemed extreme, because they are really passionate about their team.

Key Arena is where they used to play, and it is still up and running with teams still playing in this arena, for example, the WNBA's Seattle Storm play here, and also Seattle University. This is quite possible in the Seattle area and it's something that a lot of people are wishing for
