Andrew Wiggins is all set to become the number one overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft. People have been following this Canadian basketball star since he was in high school; he was the most followed high school basketball player in the world. Everyone was excited to learn which college he would go to. After choosing Kansas, he hasn’t been consistent with the his scoring, but people can’t stop thinking about about his potential.

Some scouts say he has the potential to become the next LeBron James!

Right now Wiggins is the forerunner of the new wave of Canadian basketball. If picked up first, he will become the second Canadian in NBA history selected first overall, after this year’s bust Anthony Bennett. There have been rumours of a few NBA teams tanking on purpose, just so they will be in position to get a good draft pick.

Andrew Wiggins has been called a franchise changer, and soon we will learn if these high expectations are true. But he is not the only good player in this year’s draft; the 2014 draft is said to be one of the best in draft history with players like the Australian point guard Dante Exum and Wiggin’s teammate Joel Embiid.
