Austin Reaves' girlfriend Jenna Barber hypes up Lakers star's brother Spencer Reaves' quarterfinal heroics

Austin Reaves' girlfriend, Jenna Barber, showed her excitement for Lakers star Austin Reaves' brother, Spencer Reaves, after his incredible performance in a recent German Cup knockout game. Spencer, playing for Syntainics MBC, showcased his brilliance in a crucial quarterfinal matchup against Heidelberg on Dec. 7.

Spencer delivered a game-high 36 points, leading his team to an impressive 100-85 victory and securing their spot in the semifinals. The 28-year-old was unstoppable from beyond the arc, hitting nine of his 12 3-point attempts with clutch precision and ice-cold composure.

Following the victory, Spencer Reaves celebrated the achievement by sharing a post on Instagram, marking the accomplishment of an important milestone in the tournament.

"Final Four Bound! 1 Thessalonians 5:18," Spencer wrote.

Spencer Reaves on playing in NBA

While Austin Reaves has made a name for himself in the NBA, playing for one of the league's most popular franchises, his brother Spencer has come to terms with the reality that he may never play in the world’s premier basketball league.

In an interview with ClutchPoints last year, Spencer shared that people often ask if he feels jealous of his younger brother’s success with the Lakers. However, the elder Reaves spoke warmly about Austin, expressing immense pride in his brother’s accomplishments and emphasizing the bond they share.

"And people are like, 'Oh, when are you going to play in the NBA?' I'm like, 'I don't know if I'm built for the NBA," Spencer said. "I'm a realist.' They'd be like, 'Are you jealous of Austin?' I'm like, 'No, I'll still whoop his a*s in a game of 1-on-1.'
"Just super proud of him. He just signed a big contract after two years because he was put in the right situation and showed people that they're wrong," he added.

Meanwhile, Spencer is set to return to action on Saturday when Syntainics MBC squares off against the Wurzburg Baskets.
