NBA Parlay Leg #1: Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 29.5 Points (-108)
Giannis Antetokounmpo has not been his usual self as of late. The Milwaukee Bucks star is averaging just 23.8 points per game over his last five contests, while shooting just 40.8%. This comes after averaging 33.6 ppg while shooting 56.9% in his first seven contests.
Antetokounmpo showed some of his frustration following his most recent contest against the Philadelphia 76ers, a 110-102 loss on Friday. After Philadelphia's Montrezl Harrell took Antetokounmpo's basketball away as he tried to work on his free throws after the game, he had to get another one elsewhere. By the time, he reemerged on Philadelphia's court, workers were in the process of attempting to take down the net. Antetokounmpo pushed the ladder, which toppled over.
Look for Giannis to use that frustration to break out of his recent slump, as great players generally do. Expect the two-time MVP to score at least 30 points for the first time since Nov. 2.
NBA Parlay Leg #2: Zion Williamson Under 24.5 Points (-106)
Zion Williamson has scored at least 25 points in seven of his 11 games this year. The New Orleans Pelicans star, however, has missed the last three games dealing with a right foot contusion.
After missing two games earlier in the season, Williamson went for just 21 points in his return. Furthermore, in his only matchup with the Golden State Warriors this season, he scored just 16 points.
While he is expected to return against Golden State on Monday, look for the Pelicans to show caution by limiting his minutes. Expect Williamson to score under 25 points for just the fifth time this season.
NBA Parlay Leg #3: New Orleans Pelicans -10 (-110)
The defending champion Golden State Warriors have struggled to an 8-9 record. Despite this, the spread for this game seems unusually high at first glance. Golden State, however, will rest its starting lineup.
While the New Orleans Pelicans have battled injuries throughout the early season, they will be at close to full strength. Look for the Pelicans to take advantage of their opponent's second unit. Expect New Orleans to win by at least 11 points.
