Brooklyn Nets strikes deal with SecureWatch 24
NBA side Brooklyn Nets has secured their first ever presenting sponsors, as security systems company Securewatch 24 signed a new five year deal with the basketball team.
The deal is worth around US$1 million a year and as a part of it the company’s logo will be displayed at the courtside and baseline of the team’s home stadium.
“It’s not just about the magnitude of the deal, it’s how our partner will activate while leveraging the relationship,” said Brett Yormack, Chief Executive of Brooklyn Nets.
“It’s going to be a great year. Our partner is going to realize all of those great benefits. We anticipate selling out every night. Fans’ response to our offseason has been terrific,” he added.
SecureWatch 24 will also be a part of the “Are you ready? ” media campaign of the franchise. Jay Stuck, chief marketing officer of SecureWatch 24 also expressed his pleasure at the conclusion of the deal.
“We didn’t want to be one of a dozen logos associated with a sports marketing opportunity, we wanted to own it by being the presenting sponsor in order to maximize the investment. And to be the presenting sponsor of the Brooklyn Nets is a huge step for us,” he said.
