Charles Barkley is one of the most famous basketball players of all time. During his impressive NBA career, Barkley dominated the league, which is why he's appeared in numerous commercials.
In 2012, more than a decade after his retirement from basketball, the popular athlete appeared in a commercial for Weight Watchers. In the hilarious commercial, Barkley wore a cocktail dress and a wig, which made him look very different.

The commercial has received mixed reviews. While some basketball fans found it hilarious, others thought that Barkley should have never dressed like that.
Charles Barkley in the Weight Watchers commercial
Weight Watchers is a company that offers weight loss and fitness services, including a diet program. Founded in 1963, the company has achieved a lot of success and teamed up with a lot of celebrities, such as Ciara and Oprah Winfrey.
The company used the 2012 commercial to show that the weight loss program is not just for women. Due to this, Weight Watchers began the "Lose Like A Man" ad campaign and hired the former NBA All-Star to star in a commercial.
Seeing Barkley wearing a dress and a wig is just hilarious. The basketball legend, also known as the Round Mound of Rebound, made it clear that the weight loss program was not just for women.
"I hear some of you guys still think that Weight Watchers is just for women," Barkley said in the commercial. "Even though I, Sir Charles, have been telling you that Weight Watchers has helped me lose 42 pounds and counting."
