On the other side, Kyrie Irving led the Mavericks with 27 points while PJ Washington added 21 units and Naji Marshall contributed 20 points off the bench.

The Dallas Mavericks vs Miami Heat duel started with the Heat taking a 33-28 lead after the first quarter. The second quarter finished with a tie at 23 points, with the Heat entering halftime with a 56-51 advantage. Jimmy Butler already showed that he was set to dominate this game with 14 points while Tyler Herro scored 10 in the first two quarters.

Kyrie Irving, PJ Washington and Klay Thompson looked like the most dangerous weapons for the Mavericks with their 13, 11 and eight points, respectively. The third quarter was very entertaining, as both teams scored 33 points to enter the fourth quarter with the same five points of difference.

The Mavericks took the lead in the final period, winning the quarter 30-25 to force overtime. The Heat woke up in the last period, winning overtime 9-4 to secure the seventh win of the season.

Despite dropping 27 points, Kyrie Irving didn't have the best night shooting from the floor (9-from-21). Klay Thompson only made five of his 12 field goal attempts but managed to score 15 units. Washington recorded a double-double with his 21 points and 10 rebounds, the same as Dereck Lively II (14 points and 13 rebounds).

Jimmy Butler added nine rebounds and six assists to his account while Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro also recorded double-doubles. Bam added 11 rebounds to his 18 points and Tyler Herro 10 boards to his 18 units.
