“Damn it you tried to go to Houston Rockets your damn self” – Kendrick Perkins smokes Charles Barkley for insulting Kevin Durant

Charles Barkley doesn't seem to be a big fan of Kevin Durant. The former NBA player believes that Durant is a great player, but he doesn't like his attitude or his ring chasing.

Barkley, a TNT/TBS analyst, has criticized the Phoenix Suns star numerous times. His most recent comments came on Sunday, but ESPN's Kendrick Perkins doesn't like them. Perkins doesn't like that the Hall of Famer constantly criticizes KD and the choices he makes.

Kevin Durant joined the Suns in February and has formed yet another super team. However, Charles Barkley believes that he should win on his own to gain respect from other players.

Kendrick Perkins thinks that Charles Barkley is hypocritical for cricizing Kevin Durant

Charles Barkley spoke about Kevin Durant just a few days ago. The Hall of Famer called the Phoenix Suns superstar a great player, but believes that he's very sensitive.

Last year, Barkley criticized the two-time NBA champion for teaming up with other stars to win championships. However, Kendrick Perkins pointed out that Charles tried to do the same thing during his basketball career.

"(Charles Barkley) has been going on at Kevin Durant," Perkins said. "You don't know how it feels to win a championsip because you haven't done it. Damn it, you tried to go to the Houston Rockets your damn self to team up with Hakeem Olajuwon."

Barkley was one of the best basketball players of his generation. However, he could win a championship ring with the Philadelphia 76ers or the Phoenix Suns, where he spent 12 years combined.

In 1996, the power forward teamed up with Hakeem Olajuwon with the Houston Rockets. The Rockets won back-to-back titles in 1994 and 1995, but they couldn't win one after Barkley arrived.

The 6-foot-6 forward spent four years in Texas, but his biggest success was reaching the Western Conference finals.

Despite being one of the most dominant players of his generation, Sir Charles retired with no championship ring. He earned numerous other accolades during his career, including the MVP award and 11 All-Star selections, but he was never able to win the championship.

Perkins, who won an NBA title in 2006 with the Boston Celtics, pointed this out while criticizing Barkley over his comments about Kevin Durant:

"The only people that try to degrade someone's championships is a person that's never won a championship, because they don't know the journey and how it feels."

The closest that Barkley got to winning a championship was in the 1992-93 season. The power forward led his Phoenix Suns to the NBA Finals during his MVP season. However, the Suns lost to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls in six games.
