UBA 2015: Delhi Capitals beat Mumbai Challengers 100-73
The Delhi Capitals beat the Mumbai Challengers by a margin of 27 points n the penultimate match of the group stage of the UBA Championship at the Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Both teams did have any chance of making it to the semifinals, but the Capitals showed great intent on their part to record just their third win of the tournament in six matches. On the other hand, it was further disappointment for the Challengers, who embarrasingly finished the tournament without a single victory.
The first of the two matches between the teams happened last Thursday, which saw the Capitals thump the Challengers by a margin of 45 poiints 83-38. That is the biggest margin of victory so far by any team in the competition.
A similar tale unfolded in the second contest today as the Capitals clearly looked the more dominant side, leading by a massive 27 points 49-22 after the first half. The result was pretty apparent after that kind of lead.
The match finished with the Capitals registering a comfortable 27-point win.and the Challengers losing six out of six.
