UBA 2015: Delhi Capitals hammer Mumbai Challengers by a massive 45-point margin
The Delhi Capitals beat the Mumbai Challengers 83-38 to register the biggest win of the UBA Championship so far, in game 2 on Wednesday at the Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad.
Right from the opening quarter, things didn't look good for the Mumbai side as they just couldn't muster as many points as they would’ve liked to. The Delhi team, on the other hand, showed considerable improvement in both their offense and defense as compared to the previous matches.
The second quarter saw a lot more brisk activity from both sides as Mumbai slowly looked to take more control of proceedings and finished the second quarter with a 31-18 lead.
But what transpired in the second half left everybody with their mouths wide hanging open, as the Capitals absolutely stormed back into the contest and pummelled the Mumbai team who could score a mere four points in the whole 10-minute period of the third quarter.
Following that sensational display by the Capitals, there was little that Mumbai could do to make a comeback into the contest and they eventually lost by a whopping margin of 45 points.
Final Scoreline: Delhi Capitals beat Mumbai Challengers 83-38.
