Schroder delivered a well-rounded performance, outplaying two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Ellen was thrilled after watching her husband’s standout game against the Giannis-led Bucks, one of the top contenders in the Eastern Conference. Shortly after the game, Ellen shared her reaction on Instagram, posting a story highlighting Dennis’ performance and adding a heartfelt caption.
"Proud of you Dennis Schroder. Great game, great win," Ellen wrote.
The former FIBA World Cup MVP stuffed the stat sheet against the Bucks, carrying the scoring load while creating numerous scoring opportunities for his teammates. Schroder finished the game with 29 points, four rebounds, six assists and one steal in 34:31 minutes, shooting 53.3% from the field, including an impressive 62.5% from three-point range.
Schroder outscored Giannis, who led the Bucks with 22 points in 33:19 minutes. The one-time NBA champion shot 7 of 11 from the field, adding 12 rebounds, seven assists, one steal and a block.
