Devin Booker and ex Kendall Jenner seated in opposite stands during Simone Biles' Olympics event
Devin Booker sat across a familiar face when he attended Simone Biles' 2024 Paris Olympics Women's Gymnastics All-Around final on Thursday. His ex-girlfriend Kendall Jenner was seated in the opposite stands. Booker and Jenner shared snaps of the event on their Instagram, suggesting both of them were present at the venue.
Here are their stories (via Entertainment Tonight on IG):
Booker was with his fellow Team USA Men's Basketball teammates, cheering on for Biles as she claimed her second gold medal in Paris and sixth overall in the Olympics. On the other hand, Jenner was with her best friend, Fai Khadra.
Devin Booker and Kendall Jenner announced their relationship on Instagram in February 2021. They were spotted together multiple times since August 2020. She was in attendance for his maiden NBA Finals appearance in July 2021. The former couple broke up in November 2022.
Since then, Booker has presumably been single, keeping his personal life under wraps, while Jenner has dated Bad Bunny.
Booker is participating in the Paris Olympics, his second, after winning the gold at Tokyo in 2021. He has played a prominent role on the USA Men's Basketball team, being the only starter to retain his place in every game alongside LeBron James and Steph Curry.
Meanwhile, Jenner is in Paris as one of the spectators supporting USA athletes.
Devin Booker avidly records Simone Biles' legendary performance
Devin Booker was like any other fan in Thursday's Women's Gymnastics All-Around final event, where Simone Biles bagged her career-ninth Olympic medal. Booker attended the event with some of his Team USA Basketball teammates, carrying a camcorder to record Biles' legendary gold medal-winning performance.
He also made an edit out of it and posted it on Instagram, lauding Biles.
"Goat activity," Booker captioned the post.
Simone Biles earned a 59.131 score, overcoming an early error to bag her record ninth Olympics medal, a sixth gold medal and second at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Compatriot Suni Lee also finished on the podium, winning the bronze, tallying a 56.465 score.
The two celebrated the win together in front of the star-studded crowd that showed out for their all-around event, waiving the USA's flag. It was a fitting comeback from Biles, who returned to the Olympics after 2016.
She withdrew from the 2021 Tokyo Olympics after suffering from the "twisties," a type of mental block that can lead to serious injury for gymnasts. Basketball legends like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Steph Curry joined Devin Booker in celebrating Biles' achievement.
