"Enough said": Giannis Antetokounmpo's fiancee Mariah Riddlesprigger hypes 2x MVP's historic season
Entrepreneur and former volleyball player Mariah Riddlesprigger celebrated her fiance Giannis Antetokounmpo's historic achievement on Instagram. He became the first player in NBA history to average 30-plus points on a 60% shooting clip.
The 31-year-old mother of three took to her Instagram story to celeberate the momentous feat, posting a collage of the 'Greek Freek' in action with the impressive numbers he posted also featured in the picture.
Riddlesprigger captioned it with just two words:
"ENOUGH SAID"
The post came just as the Milwaukee Bucks are preparing to plunge into action in the first round of the NBA playoffs against the Indiana Pacers this weekend.
Unfortunately for the Bucks, they are set to miss the services of two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is still dealing with the left calf injury he suffered late in their regular season campaign.
The eight-time NBA All-Star is expected to miss the early goings of their best-of-seven series against the Pacers. However, Milwaukee is hopeful its superstar can return through the course of the opening round.
Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the Bucks in points, rebounds and steals this season, with 30.4 points (on 61.1% shooting), 11.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game. He also averaged 6.5 assists and 1.1 blocks across 35 minutes of play in 73 games, which he all started.
The Bucks finished the regular season with a 49-33 record, third in the Eastern Conference. They begin their playoff series with Indiana on April 21, Sunday, in Milwaukee.
Mariah Riddlesprigger talks about life with Giannis Antetokounmpo
Mariah Riddlesprigger is happy with her relationship with Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, she admitted that early on she struggled finding her own identity amid the celebrity and fame of her NBA superstar fiance.
The two have been together for some time and share three children together, namely, Liam, 4, Maverick Shai, 2, and Eva, seven months. They announced their engagement around the time their third child was born.
Speaking to PEOPLE in a late 2023 interview, Riddlesprigger opened about life with an NBA superstar like Giannis Antetokounmpo.
She said:
"For the longest time, I struggled personally. What do I want to do? It's hard to find your own identity sometimes because your life is so much them, your significant other, and what they do."
But Ripplesprigger always knew there was more to her than just being the partner of Antetokounmpo. She involved herself in community initiatives in Milwaukee through the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation (CAFF) that she and her fiance established back in 2022.
CAFF is hailed as a social impact organization aimed at helping people unlock their true potenial in making a difference in the community and as they go through life.
Ripplesprigger said of the platform she has found in CAFF:
"It's taken a while, but now that I've figured it out. It's exciting, and I have so much drive to figure out how I can help other people with our family's platform."
Ripplesprigger has a degree in sports management Rice University in Houston and worked as an intern in the NBA Summer League. Later on, she was a part of the basketball operations team for the Philadelphia 76ers.
