Eric Bledsoe sent home after his tweet, Suns actively looking to trade him

Eric Bledsoe's exit from Phoenix could be much sooner than later...

It's been a disastrous 2017-18 campaign for the Phoenix Suns so far. They fired their coach Earl Watson on Sunday after an 0-3 start to the season, and Eric Bledsoe tweeted that he clearly doesn't want to play for the Suns any longer:

ESPN NBA Reporter Chris Haynes confirmed that the Suns sent Bledsoe home on Monday morning after they discovered the tweet. The Suns were slated to play Sacramento on Monday night, and there is confirmation that he will not be in the lineup.

This immediately prompted rumors that he could be traded, rumors that ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed on Monday morning as well:

One of the teams confirmed in talking with Phoenix is the New York Knicks who look to add another playmaker to their roster after losing Carmelo Anthony in the offseason. At the time of this writing, it is unknown what other teams have talked to Phoenix about the guard.

Front office insider for ESPN Bobby Marks made an interesting comment regarding just how rare a trade this early in the season occurs. Take a look at his tweet below:

On the season, Bledsoe is averaging 15.7 PPG to go with 2.3 REB and 3.0 AST. You could tell that Bledsoe really didn't want to be there in their last game against the Los Angeles Clippers. He only scored 4 points on 1 of 4 shooting in 23 minutes. The previous two games, Bledsoe played 29 minutes.

It is safe to say Bledsoe is going to be one of those rare early-season trades as both sides seem to agree on the matter.
