ESPN & Netflix team up for a 10-part Michael Jordan documentary titled "The Last Dance"

ESPN Films and Netflix are all set to release a 10-part documentary featuring the NBA legend, Michael Jordan.
In case you didn't know...
Jordan won a national championship at North Carolina and was named the National College Player of the year. He was drafted No. 3 overall in the 1984 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls.
The heart of the matter
ESPN Films 30 for 30 and Netflix team up in a joint production, 'The Last Dance, a 10-part documentary that will be the profiling Jordan's rise to stardom with the Chicago Bulls. Michael Jordan has apparently approved the project and will also be taking part in it, according to Richard Deitsch of The Athletic.
'The Last Dance', will share the story of His Airness from being cut from his varsity high school basketball team as a sophomore to becoming arguably the greatest player in the history of basketball. The film also contains more than 500 hours of never-before-seen footage from the 1997-98 Bulls championship run. This film is going to be directed by Jason Hehir.
The ESPN Films 30 for 30 Twitter account posted the following teaser for the documentary:
Michael Jordan is a 6-time NBA champion with 6 Finals MVP titles, 5-time regular season MVP, 10-time scoring champion, 14-time NBA All-Star, 10-time All NBA First Team, 1988 NBA Defensive Player of the year, 9-time All-Defensive First Team.
He is currently the owner of the Charlotte Hornets and is a successful entrepreneur as the face of the Air Jordan shoe and apparel line.
What's next?
'The Last Dance' will officially be announced on Tuesday at the ESPN upfront presentation and is expected to premiere in 2019, according to Michael McCarthy of Sporting News.

Michael Jordan is the greatest player to have ever played the game of basketball. Any documentary made on the legend is going to be an absolute treat to watch, even though a plethora of them have already been made.
