Exclusive: Michael Coleman thinks Joel Embiid would be unstoppable if he sticks to one key aspect in his game

Philadelphia 76er Joel Embiid is one of the most dominant players in the NBA. There has been some discourse around him due to underperforming in the playoffs and because of the injuries that he has suffered throughout his career. While Embiid has gone through a bit of tough luck, he is undoubtedly one of the top players in the NBA.

There are a few different ways that some people want him to play, including just focusing on what he can do inside the paint. When he gets that ball underneath, Embiid can typically get a bucket for Philadelphia.

Speaking to Reggie Roberts on Sportskeeda's "BallFather" podcast, Michael Coleman said:

"I've been watching Joel Embiid play since he was at Kansas. And even then, he didn't play a lot because he was hurt there, and that's going to be his trademark is the injuries, not available... And I'm just one of these guys that wants to see big man, all the big men, play underneath. But they all want to shoot them long range... I'm like 'Joel, get underneath.' He's going to be unstoppable."

Michael Coleman added that the Philadelphia 76ers need to be a bit better around Joel Embiid. Some of the guys on their team aren't as consistent as him, which has also been part of the reason for their playoff struggles throughout the past few seasons. If Joel can get some help from his main guys and role players, this 76ers team has a chance to win an NBA Championship this season.

It won't be an easy task as they will have to take down the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks, but Philadelphia has shown, throughout the past few seasons, that, when they're at their best, they're arguably just as good as both of those teams.
