Federation Cup Basketball: IAF make it to semis
Bangalore - Indian Air Force continued their fine run in the Federation Cup basketball tournament here by maintaining their unbeaten record as they defeated Central Excise 92-82 for their third win here on Friday and booked their berth in the semi-finals from Group A.
IAF, who had opened their campaign with a shock win over defending champions Punjab Police, went on to post a 85-76 result against Vijaya Bank on Thursday night before overcoming the excisemen this morning.
Punjab Police chalked up their second win in three matches by downing Vijaya Bank 72-61 to keep their semi-final hopes alive.
