Video: Recap of FIBA exhibition game between USA and Brazil

The reigning World Champions of the FIBA World Cup, USA kicked off their warm-up schedule with the first match against Brazil at the United Center, Chicago on Saturday night. 

The USA team came out in warm-up T-shirts which had “united we stand PG” printed on them. The starting line-up for USA was Stephen Curry, Derrick Rose, James Harden, Kenneth Faried and Anthony Davis, while for the Brazil squad it was Marcelo Huertas, Leandro Barbosa, Nene Hilario, Marcus Sousa and Tiago Splitter.

Although the game was evenly matched through three quarters, the team eventually beat Brazil 95-78 on the back of a dominating performance by Chicago native Anthony Davis who had 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocked shots. 

Returning from injury, Rose also had a positive impact on the game with his 7 points and 4 assists.
