Tyrese Haliburton played a limited role as Team USA secured their fifth consecutive gold in the Olympic event. He averaged 8.8 minutes in the three appearances and mostly served as the 12th man, not playing in the semifinal and final of the tournament.

Haliburton took to X, formerly Twitter, to humorously address his limited role for Team USA following their Olympic win.

"When you ain’t do nun on the group project and still get an A 🥇," Haliburton tweeted.

The Pacers guard likely had a limited role due to the fact that the Team USA squad was loaded with talent. He was also dealing with a minor leg injury during the Olympics, which may have been a contributing factor.

With his Olympic mission complete, Haliburton will now look to secure his first NBA championship in the upcoming season.
