Former NBA star Mookie Blaylock in critical condition after car crash
Former NBA superstar, Mookie Blaylock is in critical condition after being involved in a car accident.
The former All-Star guard crashed his SUV head-on into a van while driving in Jonesboro. Blaylock was immediately airlifted to the Atlanta Medical Center and was declared to be in critical condition.
The man and the woman who were present in the van were also taken to the hospital. However, it was reported that the woman, 41, had died.
Blaylock had averaged 13.5 points, 6.7 assists and 2.3 steals over 889 games. He began his career with the New Jersey Nets, and played his first three seasons there. Blaylock ended his career with the Golden State Warriors after a career spanning 13-seasons.
Blaylock had also helped the Sooners to reach the 1988 NCAA title game. However, they lost to Kansas.
