Golden State Warriors vs Phoenix Suns: Injury Report, Predicted Lineups and Starting 5s - 24th October | NBA Season 2023-24
The Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns will play in the second game of the NBA's opening day. The two franchises come into the season with championship expectations and have enjoyed active offseasons, with new faces joining each franchise.
Neither team will be entering the contest in full health. Yet, we can be sure we'll see some of the league's most talented players strutting their stuff, as both teams look to gain a slight mental advantage in the first game of their season series against each other.
Phoenix Suns vs. Golden State Warriors: Injury Report
The Phoenix Suns have three players listed as questionable heading into their Oct. 24 contest. Bradley Beal is dealing with a back injury and is questionable to face the Golden State Warriors, per Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports. Devin Booker is also questionable, per Gerald Bourgeut of GoPHNX, due to a toe injury.
Phoenix will be without Damion Lee, who recently underwent surgery on a torn meniscus. There is no timeline for Lee's return to basketball activities.
The Warriors are without Draymond Green. The championship-winning forward has been nursing an ankle sprain throughout preseason. On Sunday, Oct. 22, Green ramped up his rehab by participating in some five-on-five drills. However, per Shams Charania of The Athletic, he was ruled out of the opening game against the Suns on Monday.
