When asked about who makes him 'star-struck,' Curry highlighted track and field athlete, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, and seven-time gold medalist gymnast, Simone Biles.

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone is the most dominant U.S. female track and field athlete and put on a show in Paris. She was dominant in the 400 hurdles, winning the race with a world-record timing of 50.37 seconds, and had no other runner in her vicinity. She set the record by lowering her own previous record and is the only woman to win the event in consecutive Olympic Games.
Sydney won her second gold at the Paris Olympics as a member of the women's 4x400 relay which was also the fourth Olympic gold of her career. She recorded a time of 47.71 seconds in her split of the race, which would have won the open 400-meter event in Paris.
Meanwhile, Simone Biles added three Olympic golds and one silver at the 2024 Paris Games to increase her Olympic medal tally to seven gold medals, two silver and two bronze.
Steph Curry asserts Team USA's dominance over Olympic basketball
After both the men's and women's basketball teams of Team USA won the gold medal in the basketball event of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Steph Curry asserted the USA's dominance over Olympic basketball. Curry took to X to share pictures of both teams with their gold medals and asked if anyone needed any more answers.

Both USA teams defeated the host country, France, in the finals. Steph Curry led the victory charge forTeam USA's men's finals, recording 24 points, one rebound, five assists and two steals. He hit 8-of-12 from deep and made four 3s in the final three minutes, which ensured the win for Team USA and helped him grab the first Olympic gold medal of his career.
With the wins, the USA men's team secured their fifth consecutive gold medal in the Olympics, while the USA women's team clinched their eighth consecutive.
