Michael Jordan's first car was a gift
In his rookie season with the Chicago Bulls, Michael Jordan signed his first endorsement deal with Chevrolet, even before joining Nike. In return for shooting commercials for the car company, Jordan was given a silver 1984 Chevrolet Corvette C4 with the license plate 'JUMP23'. The car retailed for $21,800 at the time, which is more than $60,000 in today's terms.

1989 vehicle that inspired Air Jordan VI
The Air Jordan VI were reportedly inspired by Michael Jordan's white 1989 Porsche 930 Turbo Cabriolet 'Flat Nose' which retailed for over $116,000, or nearly $300,000 in today's terms. The heel of the shoe is reportedly inspired by the vehicle's spoiler.

Michael Jordan bought himself a lavish gift following his first NBA Finals
Michael Jordan won six championships in his legendary NBA career, twice 'three-peating'. Following his first title in the 1990-1991 season, the Chicago Bulls star bought himself a lavish gift. Jordan purchased himself a $195,000, or upwards of $400,000 in today's terms, red Ferrari 512TR with the license plate 'M AIR J'. Jordan reportedly made this a tradition as he purchased an additional Ferrari after each of his five other championship victories.

Michael Jordan's most expensive car purchase
While Michael Jordan has a very extensive collection of cars, none cost as much as his 2010 Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir. The five-time NBA MVP reportedly spent $2.25 million on the car, which would be over $3 million in today's terms. While the car is the NBA Hall of Famer's most expensive car purchase, it may also be his rarest. There were reportedly only 12 Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir's made, however, the ten-time scoring champion was able to grab one.
