Hoops fans react to Paris Olympics village rooms having cardboard beds: "LeBron room guaranteed does not look like that"

LeBron James and his USA Men's National Team teammates will be hosted at the Olympic village and it will be interesting to see what kind of accomodation the NBA superstars will receive. A recent video from Great Britain's diving star Tom Daley reviewing the beds at the Olympic Village has gone viral, and it is not a pretty sight.

Daley's video on Instagram shows the 30-year-old testing out the beds in the village rooms in Paris. He starts by knocking on the cardboard bed frames and provides fans with a view of the cardboard boxes holding up the mattress. Daley finishes the clip by bouncing up and down on the bed and classifying them as "pretty sturdy."

NBA players, who are some of the tallest athletes in the world, may have some difficulty getting a good night sleep on cardboard boxes. Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is listed as 7-feet, 280 pounds. Anthony Davis is 6-foot-10 and over 250 pounds. It seems inconceivable that they will have to sleep on cardboard beds.

At 39 years old, this will likely be LeBron James' last opportunity for a gold medal. The USA forward was a member of the championship teams in 2008 and 2012, and was a member of the bronze medal winning team in Athens in 2004.

Team USA will enter the tournament as heavy favorites, but could face stiff competition from talented teams like Serbia, France, Canada and Australia. James and his teammates will need to be at their best if they hope to walk away with the ultimate prize.

The USA has been drawn in a group alongside Serbia, South Sudan and Puerto Rico.
