How did Scottie Pippen meet his wife? Exploring the relationship timeline of NBA legend and Larsa Pippen

Scottie Pippen met his now estranged wife, Larsa Younan, in 1995. He was fresh out of an engagement with Yvette De Leon, one which did not lead to marriage.

When Scottie met Larsa, he was five years removed from his divorce from his first wife, Karen McCollum. The six-time NBA champ separated from his first wife after 12 years of marriage.

Scottie and Larsa tried and successfully kept the early part of their relationship private. However, former NBA player John Salley recounted Scottie gushing over her the first time they met.

Things got official in 1995 and according to Salley, Scottie knew he was going to marry her. Two years later, the Chicago Bulls star proposed.

Three years after their union, they welcomed Scotty Pippen Jr. He is the first of four children between Scottie and Larsa, and is currently signed to a two-way contract with the LA Lakers.

Larsa has often spoken about how they both love their children immensely. Although both are still heavily involved in their kids' lives, their marriage has come to an end.

However, Larsa filed for divorce two years later, saying they would be separated due to irreconcilable differences. The divorce was finalized on Dec. 15, 2021, but they have remained cordial.

Larsa once agreed to go on a date with Future. The "Real Housewives of Miami" star said that the rapper was very romantic and they talked for seven hours.

It was also reported that Larsa had something to do with NBA player Malik Beasley. They were spotted together in public holding hands.

Scottie Pippen & Larsa Pippen supporting each other

Scottie and Larsa continued to support each other even after their divorce. They have continued to speak highly of each other regardless.

Following the release of Michael Jordan's "The Last Dance," Scottie was displeased with how he was portrayed in the documentary. Larsa also believes he deserves more credit.

On "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen," she was asked about her relationship with Scottie after the divorce and said:

"We're best friends. We co-parent the same and we love each other."

When asked about the documentary, she said:

"I think Scottie wasn't portrayed as well as he should have been because I do feel like he basically was the team. I know I'm biased, but honestly, Scottie was winning without Michael. But Michael wasn't winning without Scottie. So, you have to give Scottie credit."

Larsa also sent out several tweets in defense of Scottie regarding the issue. However, she defended herself when a troll came at her concerning the divorce.
