The eight-time NBA All-Star is reportedly set to marry his long-time girlfriend, fashion entrepreneur Mariah Riddlesprigger, in August this year. Antetokounmpo and his fiancee have a family of five. The couple welcomed their sons Liam Charles and Maverick Shai in 2020 and 2021, respectively, and their daughter Eva Brooke in 2023.
Giannis Antetokounmpo to reportedly marry fiancée Mariah Riddlesprigger in Greece
According to the Greek media, Giannis Antetokounmpo is reportedly planning to get married to his fiancee Mariah Riddlesprigger in Greece during the summer. The wedding is reported to take place at the upscale resort of Costa Navarino near the town of Pylos in the Peloponnese.
The former DPOY is reportedly an owner of two Costa Navarino residences at a beautiful seaside location along with his brother Thanasis and is a regular visitor to this southwestern corner of Greece.
In the official blog of the resort, Giannis Antetokounmpo spoke about his love for the place where he is reported to get married soon:
“There’s so much to do here, and it’s a safe environment. When you get here, you know there will be people around, but it’s good that my kids can grow up in a safe environment, go to the beach, ride their bicycles or play on the waterslides, all without me worrying too much. I’m also thinking 10 to 15 years into the future when they’ll be older."
According to Greek TV, the wedding service is expected to take place in a Greek Orthodox church and will reportedly feature hundreds of guests, including friends and members of the extensive Antetokounmpo family.
