How has Alex Sarr fared in NBA Summer League so far?
Alex Sarr had a good debut to the NBA 2K25 Summer League, showcasing his prowess on both ends of the floor as the Washington Wizards beat the Atlanta Hawks 94-88 on Friday.
Sarr recorded 12 points, seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and four blocks in the game, shooting 4-of-12 from the field and 2-of-5 from beyond the arc.
His production took a slight dip in his second outing as the Wizards lost to the Houston Rockets on Sunday.
The French player finished with eight points, four rebounds, two assists and two blocks while shooting 4-of-14, including 0-of-5 from the 3-point line as the Wizards fell 109-91.
After his third outing against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, Alex Sarr opened up about his summer league in an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda.
"It's been good. We lost, but we've been learning and getting better as a team.
"I'm getting used to the NBA game out there and trying new things, I'm trying to be impactful the most that I can. My defense is something that I'm always going to bring, no matter what happens offensively," Sarr said.
Sarr also spoke about the things he's trying to get used to on the NBA stage.
"It's a really fast-paced game. There are a lot of ups and downs," Sarr said.
"As a young player, that is something that I have to get used to. The physicality in the Summer League is kind of the same as that of the NBA. Down there, there are a lot of big guys, too. It's just about practice and getting a lot of reps."
Although his team is eliminated from the Summer League title contention, Alex Sarr will look to help the Washington Wizards bounce back after back-to-back losses with a win against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday.
