The NBA hasn't done anything regarding Morant, yet many basketball fans believe that he was suspended. This was mostly due to a viral video of Adam Silver's press conference, which turned out to be fake.
During the conference, Silver announced an indefinite suspension for Morant, but it's important to note that the video was edited. However, the Grizzlies star posted a cryptic Instagram story, further fueling speculation that he was suspended.
Was Ja Morant suspended by the NBA?
Ja Morant was not suspended by the NBA. However, the league did investigate the postgame incident against the Indiana Pacers and Morant's friend was banned from attending home games at FedEx Forum.
However, the superstar point guard has faced no charges regarding his altercation with a 17-year-old boy. His Instagram story might be a reference to the report which stated that he had a firearm during the incident.
The Grizzlies star posted an image of the song "No Weapon" by Fred Hammond on his Instagram story, fueling speculation that he was suspended. He also posted Beyonce's "Break My Soul" song.

Morant hasn't been suspended by the league and he most likely won't face any harsh consequences for his actions. However, he's walking on thin ice and might be sanctioned if he continues to behave inappropriately.
The 6-foot-3 guard appeared in Wednesday night's matchup against the Houston Rockets. In 27 minutes on the floor, Morant scored 20 points on 6-for-12 shooting. He also added seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals to his stat line.
Despite all the controversy he's been involved in off the court, the two-time All-Star has been fantastic on the floor.

Unfortunately, many social media users have shared the video as they believe it to be true. Due to this, many fans spread misinformation, claiming that the former Rookie of the Year was suspended.
Despite being up for less than 24 hours, the video has received more than 2.2 million views on Twitter alone.
