Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns' girlfriend Jordyn Woods got custom jeans with her beau's last name embroidered on the back ahead of the Timberwolves Game 5 matchup against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. Woods took to Instagram to share a story about the custom jeans by MVP BAE, which featured 'Towns' embroidered with sequins.
With Woods cheering from the sidelines, Karl-Anthony Towns recorded a double-double (28 points and 12 rebounds) in the game. However, it was in vain, as the Minnesota Timberwolves suffered a 124-103 defeat to be eliminated in five games by the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference finals.
Anthony Edwards also scored 28 points in the blowout loss.
Jordyn Woods shares snippet of song she wrote for Karl-Anthony Towns
Jordyn Woods had the sweetest present for her boyfriend, Karl-Anthony Towns, on the occasion of their fourth anniversary just over a week ago. The model took to Instagram to share a video montage of the couple with a song she wrote for Towns playing in the background.
"4 years with my Bestfriend. ❤️ here’s a snippet of a song I wrote for him 🔥🙃," Woods captioned the post.
Titled "Be with You", the song's snippet features Woods singing the following lyrics for Towns:
“You stood by me, thick and thin / all I want is your loving.”
“When you’re by my side, always feel complete / Boy, you got my heart, you know what I need,” she adds, “all I know is that I’m always down to ride / I know that together we could win at life.”
“I’ll be everything you need / you know that I’m on your team,” Woods sings before sliding into the track’s chorus, “‘Cause all I want to do is be with you, be with you, be with you.”
Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns were introduced by mutual friends "years ago," but it wasn’t until 2020 that their friendship blossomed into a relationship. The couple started dating in May 2020 before making their relationship public in September of the same year.
According to Woods, the key to their four-year relationship is "friendship and trust." In an interview with PEOPLE, Towns acknowledged that having Woods' support on a daily basis on and off the court is truly special to him.
