Kevin Garnett headbutts Dwight Howard, ignites fight

Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Garnett Headbutts Houston Rockets’ Dwight Howard

Things got a little heated between Houston Rockets’ center Dwight Howard and Brooklyn Nets’ veteran forward Kevin Garnett during the opening quarter of their game in Brooklyn. Howard got fouled by Garnett with just 7 minutes left in the first quarter. After the call was made, little pushing was made by the two. Garnett then threw the ball into Howard and then head-butted him after. Before things could get out of hand, the two were separated by officials and other players.

After the review, Garnett was ejected out of the game while Dwight Howard stayed.

Garnett was known for his antics of getting into opponents head. Earlier this season, Garnett was slapped with a technical foul for imitating Lance Stephenson’s blow to the ear to Pacers’ forward David West.
