"Klutch has more influence than Nike" — Fans hilariously troll Jaylen Brown as he quickly flip-flops on viral Bronny James take

Jaylen Brown seemed to say "I don't think Bronny is a pro" from the sidelines at the Bronny James' game on Monday when the LA Lakers faced the Boston Celtics in the Las Vegas NBA 2K25 Summer League. Shortly after a clip of him making the alleged comment spread on social media, the NBA champion took to X, formerly Twitter, to address it and give props to Bronny and his dad LeBron James.

"It’s a flex to have your son alongside you in the nba it reflects greatness and longevity! Bronny has all the tools around him to be successful I look forward to watching his growth," Brown posted.

NBA fans trolled Brown for his quick flip-flop on his viral Bronny James take, with some hilariously suggesting that Bronny and LeBron's agent Rich Paul's agency "Klutch Sports" had something to do with it.

"Klutch has more influence than Nike," a fan posted.
"Bron and his Klutch Mafia definitely reached out!" another fan said.
"Bron had them black suvs outside the crib huh? 💀🤣" a fan commented.
"bruh folded 😂," another fan posted.
"Cleanup on aisle 3 😂," another X user said.
"Kwasia 😂. Boss you’ve been caught in 4K. Don’t back track. We won’t accept this," a fan commented.

Monday's game concluded with the Lakers suffering an 88-74 defeat as they remain winless in the summer league. Bronny James concluded the game with two points, three rebounds and one assist. He shot 1-of-5 from the field and 0-for-3 from beyond the arc in almost 25 minutes of playing time.

Jaylen Brown opens up about not making Team USA for the 2024 Olympics

After Kawhi Leonard withdrew from the Team USA roster ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Brown's Celtics teammate Derrick White was chosen over him to fill the LA Clippers star's spot.

When asked about not making the team after the Lakers-Celtics summer league matchup on Monday, Brown said:

“I wasn’t surprised, but my reaction was that I was happy for D White," Brown said. "It’s dope to have so much of our guys on there, so I was happy for those guys. But I wasn’t surprised.”

This comes after Jaylen Brown previously raised concerns over Team USA sponsor Nike having influenced the decision to keep him off the roster. Brown had shared two cryptic posts after the Olympic snub on Wednesday. One post featured a series of speculating emojis, while the second was addressed to Nike:

Though Brown may not accept it publicly, it would be understandable for him to be upset after the Olympic snub given that he just concluded his best season yet, topped with the NBA Finals MVP Award.
