LeBron Raymone "Bronny" James Jr. is an American basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers as of April 2025. He is the eldest son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. Bronny was born on October 6, 2004, in Cleveland, Ohio. James attended Sierra Canyon High School in Chatsworth, California. According to his college profile, he averaged 13.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game in his senior year. He was selected to play for the McDonald's All-American Game and Nike Hoops Summit in 2023. Coming out of high school, Bronny James was a 4-star rated recruit by 247Sports, Rivals, and ESPN. Despite getting offers from Ohio State University and the University of Oregon, he committed to playing college basketball at the University of Southern California (USC).
