“LeBron jumps higher at 38 btw” - Fans send in hilarious reactions to Giannis Antetokounmpo’s incredible tip-in

Giannis Antetokounmpo had a sizzling start against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets on the road. “The Greek Freak” had 24 first-half points on several highlight reel dunks.

Besides six rim-rattling dunks, he also had a nifty sky-high alley-oop where he had to duck his head to avoid hitting the board. Some fans weren’t impressed with the move and had this to say about the impressive play:

@TheHoopCentral LeBron jumps higher at 38 btw
@BleacherReport Jokic can’t do this
@BleacherReport make a jump shot
@BleacherReport He has no skill all he can do is run and dunk
@TheHoopCentral 0% skill 100% genetics
@TheHoopCentral I would be doing the same thing if i was 10,000ft too
@TheHoopCentral Bron used to dunk that Giannis can only tip it levels to this
@TheHoopCentral I mean that's what happens when you have a long wingspan https://t.co/oewqK1PlpB
@TheHoopCentral zion would’ve dunked that tbh
@TheHoopCentral They gotta drug test him

Antetokounmpo would have easily caught the pass and slammed it home had Khris Middleton's pass not been a little too early. The former two-time NBA MVP was looking to get to his sweet spot in the post when the lane opened up.

Middleton, who was wary of the defense collapsing around his teammate, promptly threw the lob, hoping he'd get it. Antetokounmpo's wingspan and timing were just enough to make a highlight reel of what could have been an unforced turnover.

The elevation from Giannis. 🤯

Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo's vicious dunks and blistering start, the Denver Nuggets managed to keep the match close.

Jokic had 17 points to go toe-to-toe with the Bucks power forward in the first half. Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. also did their part by combining for 18 points of their own.

Milwaukee had a slight edge of 66-63 after the first two quarters. Fans in Colorado got the kind of back-to-back action they were looking for.

The Denver Nuggets defense survived Giannis Antetokounmpo's explosion in the first half last night.

During their struggles last week, Denver Nuggets coach Mike Malone told the media that he needed players who could defend. He pointed out that his team was starting to get a little too chill with still roughly 15 games remaining in the regular season.

The Nuggets' defense showed up in the second half tonight. They limited Giannis Antetokounmpo to just seven points in the last two quarters of the game.

The Bucks may also be feeling the altitude on the second night of a back-to-back set. Milwaukee walloped the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City before its marquee matchup with the Denver Nuggets.

Milwaukee's offense struggled to put up points when Denver played with more energy and hustle. The Bucks managed to score just 40 points in the second half.

The Denver Nuggets, on the other hand, relentlessly kept the pressure on their opponents. They threw different looks at Giannis Antetokounmpo and forced his teammates to beat him.

When the Milwaukee Bucks' shooting went cold, there was no denying the Nuggets. Denver dropped 64 points in the second half to show why they're going to top the Western Conference standings.
