Looking at LeBron James' wife Savannah James' professional career and businesses she's involved in

Savannah James is best known as LA Lakers superstar forward LeBron James' wife.

Savannah and LeBron have been together since high school and she has supported him throughout his legendary NBA career. However, LeBron James' wife has also had a lot of success in her own right as a businesswoman and philanthropist.

Here are some of Savannah James' biggest career accomplishments so far.

In terms of her business ventures, Savannah is a professional interior designer and has collaborated with many popular brands. Savannah and LeBron even launched their own furniture line with American Signature, called “Home Court by LeBron James,” in 2010.

LeBron’s partner also formerly ran “The Juice Spot,” a juicery in Florida during his time with the Miami Heat. However, she was forced to close it down back in 2016 after their family moved back to Ohio.

In addition, Savannah has appeared in TV shows like “The Insider” and “The Rehab Addict,” according to IMDB.

Perhaps Savannah James’ biggest accomplishments are her charity endeavors, though.

Savannah started getting involved with philanthropy in 2004 as a volunteer at the LeBron James Family Foundation. She handled tasks such as checking in students and their families at the organization’s annual bike-a-thon. She later went on to become the Vice President of the foundation.

In 2013, LeBron James' wife also hosted her first “I PROMise Makeover.” This is an annual event where she gives out free prom dresses and accessories to economically challenged girls in LeBron's hometown of Akron, Ohio.

Savannah got the inspiration for the event after remembering how her high school friends couldn't go to prom because their families couldn’t afford dresses.

Savannah James doesn’t just help out financially. She makes an effort to connect with them on a personal level.

“I think what’s important to her is to elevate their self-esteem and their confidence in themselves,” Michele Campbell, executive director of the LeBron James Family Foundation said.
“To do that, she has to learn what they’re going through so she can connect with them on a real level. And that’s what she takes the time to do.”

In 2017, LeBron James' wife also launched her own mentorship program called “Women of Our Future.” The program was designed to empower young women in Akron, Ohio. It provides counseling and academic support to young local women, which is meant to encourage them to pursue higher education.

The inspiration for Women of Our Future came from Savannah James’ lack of self-esteem as a teenager and her longing for mentorship growing up.

“I could have used someone in my life to just kind of guide me and help me through certain situations,” Savannah said.
“These things reflect the passion that I have as far as giving back, the philanthropic part of me. So with those things, I don't mind stepping out.”

LeBron James' wife also attends regular meetings with Women of Our Future participants and their mentors.

“In the times that we’re in right now, I think that love and showing a bit of empathy for people in just a positive light can go a long way,” Savannah said.

It’s safe to say LeBron's partner has kept herself almost as busy as him over the years. In fact, she has even stated that she’s doing everything she can to mirror the LA Lakers superstar’s work ethic.

“He’s super, super passionate about his philanthropic endeavors. He’s super, super passionate about his athletic abilities, doing everything he needs to do to stay in tip-top shape to make sure that he can help his team do what they need to do on the court,” Savannah James said.
“I just try to mirror that drive in everything that I do.”

At just 36 years old, it doesn’t look like Savannah is going to be slowing down anytime soon.
