Teams around the NBA now have less than 24 hours to finalize trades. The NBA's trade deadline will come into effect tomorrow at 3 pm ahead of the All-Star Event in North Carolina, and the Los Angeles Lakers are expected to be one of the leagues most active teams.

The Lakers have fallen out of the Western Conference playoff spots due to the injury sustained by LeBron James, and it is now clearer than ever that the Lakers needs to add at least one or two additions in order to increase the team's chances of securing a postseason appearance.

Due to this, both incomings and outgoings are expected in the next 24 hours, and here we will look at the trade rumors that are making the rounds ahead of the deadline.

In their pursuit of Anthony Davis, the Lakers have reportedly offered the Pelicans a package that includes Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, Ivica Zubac, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and two first round picks.

Nevertheless, the Pelicans reportedly have no intention of dealing the six-time All-Star, and ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that no progress has been made on a deal:

The New Orleans Pelicans still haven't responded on the Los Angeles Lakers' most recent trade proposal for Anthony Davis, league sources tell ESPN. Pelicans have yet to engage L.A. on trade talks.

Davis has requested a trade away from the Pelicans ahead of the trade deadline, and it is widely believed that the Lakers are among his preferred destinations.

Nevertheless, the Boston Celtics have reportedly urged the Pelicans to hold off on trading the 25-year-old until the summer, as the Celtics are expected to make a huge offer of their own.
