Luka Doncic age: Tracing Dallas Mavericks' teen years which were spent at Real Madrid
Before making his mark in the NBA, Luka Doncic made massive strides in the EuroLeague and Liga ACB, leading his franchise, Real Madrid, to a EuroLeague title and 3 Liga ACB titles.
Doncic's debut for Real Madrid made him the youngest player to do so in the club's history. Doncic played just three games in 2014-15 and averaged just 2.7 minutes per game.
After becoming a regular member of RM's senior team, he saw a significant increase in his minutes in the 2015-16 Liga ACB season, averaging 4.9 points per game on 52.6% shooting from the field and 42.9% from three-point range. That season, he only attempted 3.1 field goals on average.

2016-17 would see Luka Doncic take significant leaps. On his way to becoming the youngest-ever MVP of the Round of the EuroLeague, Doncic recorded 16 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals over Brose Bamberg.
He accomplished the feat twice: once in January against Maccabi Tel Aviv, when he had 10 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists, and again in February, during the EuroLeague playoffs.
Doncic averaged 7.8 points per game, 4.5 rebounds per game, and 4.2 assists per game this season. In February of that year, he set a season-high with 23 points against Baskonia.
Doncic continued to shine as Real Madrid advanced to the 2017 EuroLeague playoffs, recording 11 points and seven assists in a game that helped Real Madrid reach the EuroLeague final four.
Doncic was subsequently named the EuroLeague Rising Star and also won the ACB Best Young player award. The 2017-18 season would bring Doncic's first EuroLeague title and his third ACB title.
Doncic averaged more than 10 points for the first time in either ACB or the EuroLeague, with him averaging 16 points per game, 4.8 rebounds per game, and 4.3 assists per game. In the ACB, Doncic added 12.8 points per game, 5.7 rebounds per game, and five assists per game.
Doncic would go on to record a career-high 33 point-game and a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double game in a win against the defending champions during the season.
Following Real Madrid's win over Fenerbahçe Doğuş, Doncic was awarded the EuroLeague Final Four MVP and the EuroLeague MVP. Luka Doncic ended his career in Europe in 2018 and was chosen third overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2018 NBA draft.
Doncic was subsequently traded to the Dallas Mavericks for the draft rights of Trae Young and a first-round pick.
