March Madness 2023: What are the locations for Elite 8?

The matchups for the regional semifinals are set. The four regions will conclude this week in four arenas across the United States.

The Sweet 16 games will go down on Thursday and Friday with the Elite Eight games occurring on Saturday and Sunday.

The South region will take place at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, Kentucky, on Friday and Sunday.

No. 1 overall seed Alabama (31-5) will tip off against No. 5 San Diego State (29-6) in one Sweet 16 matchup. The Cinderella story continues to roll on for No. 15 Princeton (23-8) as it takes on No. 6 Creighton (23-12) in the other South region semifinal.

The East region is set to headline the world’s most famous arena. The four teams will converge at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

No. 4 seed Tennessee (25-10) takes on upstart No. 9 seed Florida Atlantic (33-3). In the other matchup No. 3 seed Kansas State (25-9) will take on coach Tom Izzo and No. 7 seed Michigan State (21-12).

The Midwest region will be held at T Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The games will be on Friday and Sunday.

No. 1 seed Houston (33-3) takes on No. 5 seed Miami (27-7)). The other matchup should be a juicy one with No. 2 seed Texas (28-8) taking on No. 3 seed Xavier (27-9).

UCLA and Gonzaga will meet in the Sweet 16.

The final region is the West. The action goes down on the world-famous Strip at T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

No. 4 seed UConn (27-8) takes on feisty No. 8 Arkansas (22-13) in the first matchup on Thursday. No. 2 seed UCLA (31-5) takes on No. 3 seed Gonzaga (30-5) in the following Sweet 16 game.
